Chhattisgarh women’s beach handball team won the gold medal at the Senior National Beach Handball Championship in Assam. They beat Kerala in the final. Kanchan Mahanand was awarded Best Goalkeeper. The team also defeated Haryana in the semi-finals. Their success boosts morale for the upcoming 38th National Games in Uttarakhand.
